TV episode. You can frequently find re-runs showing on TNT.
I haven't seen C.H.i.Ps 99 so I can't vouch for any LTD's being in it

Still, if you're curious...

Ice Storm (1997). "During my evening
ritual of changing channels, an inexplicable power compelled me to watch
an otherwise boring movie. Luckily the miracle unfolded before me soon
afterwards: one of the families in the movie drive a very nice 1972 Ford
LTD Country Squire. The scene I witnessed is the one of the land yacht
driving up to a chalet/house (nice frontal view) and parking right in
front of it (perfect full side view). I already did some background checks
and apparently the movie is set in 1973, so the model year could be
correct. Can someone verify this?" (thanks to Dominik Thys in Belgium for this sighting!)
