Baker Street station was the first Underground station built. Based on the historical drawings on display there, those big windows were originally real windows that let the sun in, but now they are sealed and each have a flood light in them simulating a real window. I'd imagine the station must have been so much more pleasant with real skylight illuminating it. I like how the original park bench seating is inset to not interrupt the flow of traffic.
